Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Content Writer and SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating engaging, informative, and impactful content that connects with audiences looking for global advertising expertise.
This role requires a self-starter with expert command of the English language who can analyse the markets we operate in, generate content ideas, and execute on their ideas. In this role, you will produce various types of content, including articles, blogs, social media posts, website copy, media kits and more. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research, write, edit, and proofread content in English, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and clarity.
• Develop content ideas and produce original content that aligns with the company’s objectives and resonates with the target audience.
• Create engaging, SEO-optimised content for multiple platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and newsletters.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the digital performance team to generate and execute creative content ideas and campaigns.
• Monitor content performance metrics and adapt strategies to enhance engagement and impact.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related field
• Proficiency in English with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proven experience as a content writer or similar role with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and search engine optimisation (SEO) best practices including knowledge of digital measurement tools (Google Page Speed, Semrush)
• Strong research skills and the ability to create well-informed and engaging content.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
• Advantage: Knowledge of additional languages.
• Advantage: Knowledge of semantic HTML (Meta tags, Heading structure, Accessibility)
• Advantage: knowledge of Google Search Console (Performance metrics)
